Delayed Start Notice for Wednesday, January 22

Due to the potential of early wintry road conditions in rural shaded areas, as well as assuring that we have campus water availability, properly heated facilities and buses safely checked, all LCSD campuses will operate with a delayed start of 9 AM for tomorrow, January 22. Afterschool activities will be subject to the conditions and updated at the school level.
We will remain in contact with LEMA, county officials, and continue to monitor conditions throughout the day into Thursday. Updates will be shared as needed. Thank you for your patience and support of the LCSD.

LCSD Notice: Delayed Start for Tuesday (1/21/25)

Due to the possibility of early wintry road conditions in shaded areas Tuesday morning, as well as to ensure campus water availability and properly heated facilities, all LCSD campuses will operate on a delayed start schedule, beginning at 10 AM tomorrow. Additionally, all after-school activities are canceled for Tuesday.

We are working closely with LEMA and county officials and will continue to monitor conditions throughout the day and into Wednesday. Any necessary updates will be communicated promptly. Thank you for your patience and continued support for the Lauderdale County School District.
